3) Telógena - Prcesso de desprendimento do pêlo

Anagena: Nessa fase o pêlo encontra-se em fase de crescimento devido ao fato de que as células dividem - se e queratinizam - se ativamente, esse processo dura de 2 a 5 anos.

Catágena: Nesa fase a porção distal se dilata e o pêlo é envolvido por uma membrana vitrea grossa e rugosa, que forma parte da bainha do tecido conjuntivo do felículo e dura serca de 3 semanas.

Telógena: Tem duração de até 3 meses momento no qual o enfraquecimento da união entre a base do folículo e o pêlo produz sua queda.
